Several new Fortnite Item Shop skins have been teased for September 2024, including even more Marvel crossovers. Fortnite has featured plenty of Marvel-based content in the past, with the latest event, Absolute Doom, seeing the infamous Doctor Doom unleash havoc on the Island alongside a host of other comic villains like Mysterio and Emma Frost. As a result, Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 is filled with Marvel references, including grim Easter eggs hinting that many famous heroes have already fallen before Doom and his forces.

So far, this latest wave of Fortnite Marvel content has been well-received, with legions of players diving into the fight to liberate the Island from Doom and unlock special bonus items like Doctor Doom’s Monarch Pistol and skins based on beloved Marvel characters like War Machine and Gwenpool. Of course, Fortnite is always adding new cosmetics to its ever-shifting Item Shop, and a recent leak is giving fans an exciting look at what they might see this month.

Reliable Fortnite leaker HYPEX recently shared a leaked list of Fortnite Item Shop skins that are supposedly being added throughout September. In keeping with Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4’s overall Marvel theme, many of these new skins are at least inspired by comic book characters. According to the leak, a new Mewscles variant themed after Wolverine’s arch-nemesis Sabertooth will be added on either September 6 or 7, while Spider-Man’s on-again/off-again love interest Black Cat will prowl her way onto the Island sometime between September 14 to 15. The Loki and Sylvie skins are supposedly returning to the Item Shop later this week following their introduction in May.

Marvel superheroes aren’t the only new skins being added to Fortnite this month, as the leak also listed several real-life celebrities returning to the Island throughout September. For example, The Weeknd was added as a Fortnite skin last December, and he is supposedly coming back to the Item Shop on September 10 or 11. Meanwhile, Olympic Snowboarding champion Chloe Kim could be sliding back into Fortnite on September 12 or 14.

Some of Fortnite’s old content bundles are included in the leaked September 2024 Item Shop list, such as the Melloverse collection that could appear sometime later this week. The cell-shaded Academy Champions bundle is reportedly returning on September 11 or 12, while the Adidas-inspired Three Stripe Squad could crop up on an earlier date of either September 8 or 9. All of these dates and more are featured in the latest Fortnite leak, which should give players an interesting idea of what could show up in the Item Shop all month long.
