Fortnite's yearly summer event has officially started. Players have a limited amount of time to celebrate the summer festivities and earn all available rewards before they're gone. This year's summer event is called Summer Escape, and it's all about celebrating the 14 days of summer. Gamers will be able to do this by completing as many quests as possible and filling their lockers with free goodies and XP.
This guide will show Fortnite fans how they can unlock all the Summer Escape cosmetic items before they're gone for good.
Summer Escape Event
The Summer Escape event started on July 4, and players can continue to enjoy it until July 18, 2023, at 9 AM ET. During this event, gamers will be able to visit the new Sunswoon Lagoon landmark, eat colorful ice cream to receive temporary effects, and complete lots of quests.
Quests will be released daily while Summer Escape is live, and the more quests players manage to complete, the more rewards they'll be able to unlock by the end of the event.
How to Get All Summer Escape Rewards
There are three types of rewards in the Summer Escape event: the quest set rewards, the bonus goal rewards, and the mission-specific rewards. Gamers will be able to obtain rewards for completing an entire set of quests, and they'll also be able to get more free items if they complete a certain number of Summer Escape quests.
From July 4 until July 16, three sets of quests will become available in total. All Quench quests will be live by July 7, all Lagoon Party quests will be live by July 11, and all Make an Entrance quests will be live by July 16. Afterward, players have until the end of the event to complete as many as they can.
