Fortnite offers a wide range of cosmetic rewards that players can acquire, typically by purchasing items through the in-game store with V-Bucks. However, other cosmetics, like the free Katalina skin, can often be obtained through other means, and this also extends to Fortnite's vehicle skins.
Fortnite: 14 Rarest Pickaxes in 2024
The pickaxe is the trusty harvesting tool for players in Fortnite's Battle Royale, and this selection showcases a few rare beauties.
Though not as common as Fortnite's roster of epic character skins, a few vehicle cosmetics can be acquired for free or at a low cost. One example is the Diestro Gold Trim, a neat collaboration between Fortnite and Rocket League: Sideswipe. Continuing the Rocket League crossovers, players can also unlock the Cyclone Pink Painted Style in Fortnite through a specific method inside of Rocket League.
How to Get the Cyclone Pink Painted Style in Rocket League
The Cyclone Pink Painted Style can be obtained by purchasing the Season 16 Rookie Pack for Rocket League, which will cost $1.99.
The Season 16 Rookie Pack can be purchased through either Rocket League's in-game store, the Epic Games Store, or via players' platform store.
It's worth noting that if players purchase through the Epic Games Store, they will be able to use their Epic Rewards towards their purchase. This means that some players may be able to get the Season 16 Rookie Pack for free if they have enough Epic Rewards saved.
How to Get the Cyclone Pink Painted Style in Fortnite
Once purchased, the Cyclone Pink Painted Style will automatically be available in Fortnite, provided both games are linked to the same Epic Games account. However, the Season 16 Rookie Pack will only be available for a limited time, so players should act fast if they want to grab it. On top of receiving the Cyclone Pink Painted Style, players will also receive the Friction Trail (only usable in Fortnite Rocket Racing) and six additional Decors if they do not already own the Cyclone.
Owning the Cyclone Pink Painted Style grants players access to the Cyclone Car Body as well, which can be equipped as a Sports Car skin via the locker for both Battle Royale and Rocket Racing.
Players who only own the Pink Painted Style will be unable to change it unless they have purchased the Cyclone Bundle, which has appeared in the Fortnite Item Shop on numerous occasions for 1,500 V-Bucks.
The color of the Car Body, however, can be customized as players see fit. Additional Cyclone Bundles often appear in the Item Shop as well, including the Nick Eh 30 Cyclone Bundle and the Adidas Copa Cyclone Bundle, both of which cost an additional 1,500 V-Bucks and offer extra Decors for the Cyclone.
