Fortnite is joining forces with Star Wars for its yearly event, allowing fans to celebrate May the Fourth in-game with their peers. Darth Vader is one again wandering around the Battle Royale island and targeting anyone that comes close. Many gamers will feel compelled to take down this dark Sith lord, but it can be quite hard due to his force abilities.

Darth Vader came to Fortnite a long time ago from a galaxy far, far away, but how could players get their hands on the legendary Star Wars Sith Lord?

This guide will help players locate Darth Vader on the Fortnite island, and it'll also give them some tips so they can come up with the perfect strategy and breeze through combat when they come face to face with him.

Darth Vader Location

During one of the last Star Wars events in Fortnite, Darth Vader would land on the Battle Royale island on a loud ship that made it clear where gamers could find him, but that is no longer the case.

To find Darth Vader in Fortnite in Chapter 5 Season 2, players have to head to Piney Lane, the small island north of Lavish Lair. Here, they will spot the Sith lord, protected by a couple of Stormtroopers as usual.

How To Defeat Darth Vader

Darth Vader can be a tough boss to take down in Fortnite. He's accompanied by two Stormtroopers, and they won't miss their shots as much as one would think. On top of this, it's very likely that enemy players will also land by Darth Vader's spawning location, especially during the first few days of the Star Wars event.

Thanks to his mastery of the force, he can throw objects and pull players in closer before hitting them with his melee. On top of this, Darth Vader uses his Lightsaber to deflect incoming fire, so players must wait until he throws his lightsaber before attempting to deal damage - this information is key to dealing damage to this boss.

Unfortunately, Darth Vader no longer spawns in Team Rumble, so gamers can't take advantage of this game mode to try and take him down.

If you want to land near Darth Vader's location and attempt to take him down at the start of the match, the best way is to land on the shore of the beach on the northside of Piney Lane to gather some loot and shields and then head towards the Imperial landmark.
