Fortnite players are constantly receiving new quests to complete. This isn't a bother at all, as they often add challenge to the game or incentivize players to try out items and weapons they wouldn't usually pick up. Quests are a great way to earn XP and level up the Battle Pass, so many fans complete them regardless of their theme.
Fortnite: How to Get the Mortal Kombat Skins
Mortal Kombat x Fortnite brings about some iconic combatants from the Earth Realm to test their might in the beloved Battle Royale.
However, they can get particularly invested if there is a collab that comes with quests, which is the case of the Mortal Kombat x Fortnite collab taking place right now. For one of the Mortal Kombat quests available in Fortnite this week, players will have to heal themselves and an opponent at the same time using a Med Mist Grenade. This is definitely a strange and risky request, but this guide will show players a hack that will make this quest much easier to complete.
How to Find Med Mist Grenades in Fortnite
The Med Mist Grenade is a Rare-rarity healing item in Fortnite, and there are several ways to obtain it. Players can find Med Mist Grenades as floor loot or inside chest containers, but this isn't a guaranteed way to get it as it depends on RNG.
If players are determined to complete this quest and aren't able to get their hands on the Med Mist Grenade by looting, they can purchase it at a Black Market. The Black Markets in Crime City and Magic Mosses have Med Mist Grenades for sale, and they only costs 125 gold.
How to Easily Heal Yourself and an Opponent Simultaneously in Fortnite
For this quest, players will simultaneously have to heal themselves and an opponent using a Med Mist Grenade. There is a very important implication in the description of this quest. It means that both the player and their opponent need to have lost some HP (not shields), as this is the only way that the Med Mist will have an effect.
Thankfully, since the quest only mentions an "opponent" rather than an "enemy player", this can be done on any type of hostile NPC, which makes things a lot easier. Players can follow the steps down below to quickly heal themselves and an opponent simultaneously in Fortnite:
- Players need to find a Med Mist Grenade.
- Players' health needs to be below 100 HP. If they haven't lost health yet, they can jump off a high structure to bring their health down.
- Players have to find a hostile NPC.
- Once players have reached a location with hostile grunts, they must also lower their health. They can hit them with a pickaxe or only fire one shot at them to hurt but not eliminate them right away.
- Lastly, players must approach the NPC and throw the Med Mist Grenade to heal themselves as well as their opponent.

Hostile Grunt Locations in Fortnite
There are several hostile grunts on the Fortnite island. Players can find them protecting Bank Vaults and Forecast Towers.
-
Bank Vault grunts: At the start of the game, finding Bank Valt grunts are the best bet as Forecast Tower grunts won't have spawned in yet. Here is where players need to go if they plan on spotting a Bank Vault grunt:
- Lonewolf Lair
- Crime City
- Masked Meadows
- Seaport City
-
Forecast Tower grunts: If all the Bank Vaults have been robbed and the second Storm Circle has started closing in, gamers can also head to one of the Forecast Tower locations. Although there are five possible spawning locations, only two will appear per game; players will have to check their map and look for the Forecast Tower marker to see which ones are available. Forecast Towers can only spawn near the following locations:
- East of Shiny Shafts
- Northwest of Canyon Crossing
- North of Masked Meadows
- Northwest of Shining Span
- Northeast of Brutal Boxcars
