Epic Games has brought several characters from other video games into Fortnite, and it always makes for awesome collaborations. In August 2019, Psycho Bandit, a Borderlands 3 skin, was added to the Fortnite Item Shop, and it made a few appearances up until March 2020. After this, it was given away for free to players who had bought Borderlands 3 on the Epic Games Store before the end of 2020, but it has not been seen since.

Players had to wait five long years for Psycho Bandit to return to the Item Shop, but the time has finally come. Fans can once again get Borderlands 3 cosmetics in Fortnite, and this guide shows them exactly how to obtain them.

How to Get Psycho Bandit in Fortnite

Borderlands 3 Cosmetics Showcase

To get the Psycho Bandit skin in Fortnite, players have to buy the entire Psycho Bundle in the Item Shop, as it's the only way that it is sold; gamers cannot purchase the Psycho Bandit skin by itself. The Psycho Bundle costs 2,000 V-Bucks, and it includes the following items:

  • Psycho Bandit skin
  • Claptrap back bling
  • Psycho Buzz Axes pickaxe

If players haven't made up their minds whether they want to acquire the Psycho Bundle or not, they have until Saturday, May 3, at 8 PM EDT to decide, as this is when the items are scheduled to leave the shop. For gamers who haven't had the opportunity to check it out in-game, here is how each Borderlands 3 cosmetic looks in Fortnite:

Can You Get the Borderlands 3 Skin for Free?

Psycho Bandit was given away for free during a promotional event for Borderlands 3 on the Epic Games Store back in 2020. However, this was a limited-time offer, and it is no longer available. So, unfortunately, Psycho Bandit is no longer obtainable for free in Fortnite. The only way to acquire it at the moment is to purchase it through the Item Shop.
