Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 introduced fans to absolute vehicular mayhem with chaotic cars and vehicle mods. Players diving in can explore doomsday-themed POIs and blitz through the map in style, all while jamming out to Metallica's awesome anthems. On top of the awe-inspiring map changes, gamers also got lots of thematic weapons.
Fortnite: How to Beat Ringmaster Scarr
Ringmaster Scarr brings a Mythic Boom Bolt to the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 party, so here's exactly how to beat her and take the grand weapon.
While many of the weapons within Fortnite Wrecked's loot pool are carried over from last season, and include a few unvaulted weapons from Fortnite's past, more recent additions, such as the Boom Bolt and Nitro Fists have appeared. While the Boom Bolt is a superb-ranged weapon, the Nitro Fists are something completely different, and this guide will show players how to find them and use them to take down their enemies.
How to Get Nitro Fists
Nitro Fists are a weapon unique to Chapter 5 Season 3. Though coming in Epic-rarity, securing the base version of these wacky gauntlets is actually pretty easy, as they are fairly common around the Fortnite Island. Players can acquire Nitro Fists in Fortnite as regular ground loot or via opening Chests and Rare Chests.
Once players have found a pair of Nitro Fists, they can simply pick them up to secure them in their inventory. Gamers can also acquire a buffed Mythic variant of the Nitro Fists by defeating Megalo Don, an NPC boss that will either spawn at Brutal Beachhead or cruise around the map.
How to Use Nitro Fists
Nitro Fists differ from many other weapons in the current Fortnite loot pool, offering players the ability to perform a variety of moves. While players can perform a three-punch combo by simply pressing the Shoot button, there are also two additional moves that players can perform, each of which consumes a single charge. These are as follows:
- Punch - Shoot button
- Uppercut - Aim button
- Air Punch - Jump + Shoot button
Epic-rarity Nitro Fists have four charges in total, whereas Megalo Don's Mythic Nitro Fists boasts five. Once a charge has been consumed, the Nitro Fists will replenish it within 11 seconds.
Try using the Uppercut to launch into the sky and follow up with an Air Punch for extra mobility.
