Players can get the Black Pearl, Jack Sparrow's ship, as a glider in Fortnite as part of the free reward track, but they must first acquire Map Pieces. This guide will tell players what they need to know to get their hands on the Black Pearl in Fortnite.

How to Unlock the Black Pearl Glider

Jack's Ship is a reward in the Cursed Sails Pass, but unlike most items in the pass, it's not unlocked by gathering Cursed Gold. To get the Black Pearl glider in Fortnite, fans have to collect Map Pieces.

Throughout the event, a total of eight quest sets will progressively be released, and completing four quests in each set will grant players one Map Piece. Once they've obtained all eight Map Pieces, they will be rewarded with Jack's Ship.

Cursed Sails Quests: Release Date & Time

As mentioned above, gamers will have to complete Cursed Sail Quest sets to unlock Map Pieces and receive the Black Pearl glider, but this can't be done right away, as the quests will be made available as the event progresses.

The first stage of the Cursed Sails Quests is called Pirate Code One and it went live as soon as the event release. Once players have completed four quests in this phase and collected the first Map Piece, they can move on to Pirate Code Two, allowing them to unlock an additional piece. Here is the release date for every Cursed Sails Quest part:

Pirate Code One Quests: July 19 at 9 AM ET
Pirate Code Two Quests: July 21 at 9 AM ET
Pirate Code Three Quests: July 23 at 9 AM ET
Pirate Code Four Quests: July 25 at 9 AM ET
Pirate Code Five Quests: July 27 at 9 AM ET
Pirate Code Six Quests: July 29 at 9 AM ET
Pirate Code Seven Quests: July 31 at 9 AM ET
Pirate Code Eight Quests: August 2 at 9 AM ET

This means that Jack's Ship glider can only be unlocked after August 2 at 9 AM ET. The Cursed Sails Pass ends on August 6 at 4 AM ET, so gamers have nearly four days to complete most of these quests before the pass becomes unavailable.
