With the end of Fortnite Galactic Battle now closer than ever, Epic Games wants to give players a proper send-off as they march towards a new season, which is why it's giving away free cosmetics for this special occasion.
Fortnite: How to Add/Remove Parental Controls
Parental Controls are an important part of Fortnite to keep children safe, so for parents who want to add/remove them, here's how to do it.
This guide will tell players how they can get two Star Wars items for free in Fortnite, as part of a limited-time offer. However, it won't be available for long, so gamers need to make sure that they act fast and claim them before they're gone. Here is how to get the Quicksilver Baton Spear pickaxe and the Assault on the Death Star loading screen in Fortnite.
How to Get the Quicksilver Baton Spear Pickaxe in Fortnite
Before completely saying "goodbye" to Fortnite Galactic Battle, gamers need to make sure that they claim the Quicksilver Baton Spear pickaxe and add it to their in-game lockers for free. To get the Quicksilver Baton Spear in Fortnite, gamers have to log in after Tuesday, June 3, at 9 AM ET.
As soon as players log in after this date, a pop-up should appear on their screen granting them the pickaxe. On top of the Quicksilver Baton Spear pickaxe, gamers will also receive the Assault on the Death Star loading screen as a reward for logging into Fortnite.
Until When Is the Quicksilver Baton Spear Free in Fortnite?
The offer to obtain the Quicksilver Baton Spear and the Assault on the Death Star loading screen for free will remain available until June 10 at AM ET. This means that the cosmetics will be available before the end of Galactic Battle and a few days into Chapter 6 Season 3 - unless the season doesn't begin immediately.
After the offer expires, the Quicksilver Baton Spear may return to Fortnite, but it most likely won't be given away for free again. In Fortnite, cosmetic items are no longer exclusive to promotional offers or timed events; therefore, they may return to the Item Shop at a later date for a price. Additionally, loading screens aren't typically sold in the shop, so gamers are unlikely to see it again after June 10.
