Fortnite has finally made amends with Apple and returned to the App Store in Europe and the US. Additionally, it's also available on Android devices across several regions. Epic Games has created a skin to celebrate the occasion, and they're giving it away for free as a reward to those who have waited so long to play Fortnite on mobile devices.

This guide will show players how they can get the Burnoff skin in Fortnite, as it's a limited-time offer and won't be available for long.

How to Get Burnoff in Fortnite

How to Claim the Free Mobile Skin in Fortnite

Epic Games is giving away a free skin to fans who play Fortnite on a mobile device. To get the Burnoff in Fortnite, players need to download Fortnite on Android or iOS and log into their Epic Games account. Here is how to do it across all mobile platforms:

  • The offer may not show up as soon as they open Fortnite, and if this is the case, then they should click on the Locker tab to get it to appear. In the Outfit section of the Locker menu, players can edit Burnoff and check out its style options, which allow them to toggle its helmet on and off.

The Burnoff skin offer will remain available until Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 9 AM ET, so gamers have until then to download Fortnite on mobile and claim it before it's gone for good.

Fans who aren't able to access Fortnite on a mobile device may be able to obtain this skin in the future, as cosmetics are not longer exclusive and can return to the Item Shop at a later date.

Here is a showcase of the Burnoff skin so players on the fence about downloading the mobile version of the game can decide if it's worth the effort:

Can You Use the Burnoff Skin on Other Platforms?

Once players have claimed Burnoff on a mobile device, they can open Fortnite on any other platform and have access to it. The Burnoff skin can be found in the in-game Locker just like any other cosmetic in Fortnite.

The Burnoff skin, which is somewhat similar to the Burnout skin, is actually not part of the RPM set at all. The female variant of Burnout is called Redline and was part of the Chapter 1 Season 5 Battle Pass. Burnoff is a reskin of the Whiteout skin, which was initially released back in Season 5 as well. If players are fans of any of the skins mentioned above, they won't want to miss out on the opportunity to get Burnoff for free.
