How to Get the Blade of Champions for Free in Fortnite
The Blade of Champions pickaxe is being given away for free in the Blade of Champions Cup, which is taking place on Sunday, August 24, 2025. To get the Blade of Champions for free in Fortnite, players must participate in the tournament and be among the top players in their region. The winners will also receive the Champion's Blade-Splitter emote.
The top players are the ones who get the most tournament points in their region. Even if players don't get the top prize, they won't go home empty-handed, as they will receive the Blade of Champions spray simply for scoring 8 points in the Blade of Champions Cup.
Blade of Champions Cup Schedule & Rules
The Blade of Champions Cup is one of the several Reload Quick Cups that will take place during the Champions Road event in Fortnite. While most events last three hours, Quick Cups are divided into two 45-minute rounds, and the top players in Round 1 will face each other in the next round. The Blade of Champions Cup is a Duos tournament, and it is set in Reload mode. The cup will be held on August 24, but the exact time depends on the player's timezone, so they should check the Compete tab to find out the schedule for each round in their region.
