The Floor is Lava LTM was brought back to Fortnite alongside Midas in the v29.01 update on March 19. This limited time game mode will be available until April 2, which means players have until then to complete all quests and unlock every event rewards. Thankfully, this guide will tell them everything they need to know about Midas Presents: Floor is Lava.

How to Play The Floor Is Lava LTM

The Midas Presents: Floor is Lava limited time mode will be available until April 2 at 9 AM ET. Until then, gamers can play as much of it as they would like. To get into a Floor is Lava match, gamers must choose the game mode from the Epic's Picks section in the Play tab in Fortnite.

Once they get into a game, players will have to gather as much loot and materials as they can in order to survive once the lava starts rising and everything becomes submerged. Even though this LTM plays like any other Battle Royale game, gamers have to focus on avoiding the lava just as much as they have to focus on avoiding enemy fire and running from the Storm; the last player standing will get a Victory Royale.

The Floor Is Lava Quests

Every day, new Midas Presents: Floor is Lava Quests will be released at 9 AM ET. These quests are pretty straightforward, but they must be completed in The Floor is Lava LTM, as some of them require players to find items that aren't available in standard Battle Royale matches or complete certain tasks related to lava.

Here is an example of some of the quests available in this mode:

Build structures directly over lava (25)
Use a Harpoon Gun to pull a player into lava
Eliminate players before touching lava (10)
Use Crash Pad Jrs. Or Balloons (10)
Survive Storm Circles (10)

Midas Presents: Floor Is Lava Quest Rewards

As fans finish more quests, they'll start completing Bonus Goals and unlocking exclusive Midas Presents: Floor is Lava rewards. The main reward of this event is the Gilded Vengeance harvesting tool, which is related to Midas's demise back in Chapter 2.

Many fans believed that Midas had been killed in a Loot Shark attack. He returned as Ascendant Midas, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a vendetta against these creatures.
