Buried Treasure has also made a triumphant return, allowing players to acquire some serious loot with minimal effort. Here is how to find the Buried Treasure in Fortnite.

The most reliable way for players to acquire the Buried Treasure item is by visiting one of the Pirates of the Caribbean NPCs on the map.

Davy Jones, Elizabeth Swann, Captain Barbossa, and Jack Sparrow each sell Buried Treasure for 300 Gold Bars, along with other items for those willing to spend additional Gold. However, each NPC only has one of these items in stock, so act fast. For those looking to visit each character, here is a breakdown of where to find them:

Buried Treasure can also be found as floor loot or through looting chest containers but obtaining it this way is purely a matter of chance.

Running low on Gold? Try plundering Gold Bars from Weapon Bunkers and other locations around the map.

How to Use the Buried Treasure Item

Once players have acquired the Buried Treasure item in Fortnite, they can use it to get their hands on some great loot. With the Buried Treasure item equipped, players will be directed to head to an area on the map.

Upon arrival at this location, players will find a large cross on the ground, and harvesting this spot with their Harvesting Tool will uncover a secret chest. Opening this chest will guarantee the Ship in a Bottle Mythic, along with some other loot items as well.
