Fortnite players have paid enough gold Bars to unvault Choppas (helicopters in Fortnite) and now they can be found throughout the island, but only in five specific locations. Players will find the Choppas to be pretty useful to get around the map faster. Although the helicopters can't shoot missiles or anything to damage opponents, they're great for travel. These vehicles can be operated by any player and can carry an entire squad, too.
As mentioned previously, there are five spots where Fortnite players can find Choppas on the Chapter 3, Season 2 map.
Choppa/ Helicopter Locations in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2
Easily enough, the five Choppa locations in Fortnite are at the Seven Outposts, specifically Seven Outpost 1 to Seven Outpost 5.
- Seven Outpost 4 - The first Choppa can be found at Seven Outpost 4, which is south of Condo Canyon and east of Chonker's Speedway. It's right in the middle of the outpost, so players should not have trouble spotting it.
- Seven Outpost 3 - Seven Outpost 3 is northeast of The Daily Bugle near some craters. The Choppa will be outside the outpost near the western "entrance."
- Seven Outpost 1 - Look southwest of Greasy Grove to find Seven Outpost 1 near some craters. The Choppa will be behind the main building near some trees.
- Seven Outpost 5 - Look west of Command Cavern to spot a long winding river --the Outpost is northwest of that river. The choppa is in the middle of the outpost.
- Seven Outpost 2 - On a mountain to the northeast of Logjam Lumberyard resides Seven Outpost 2. The Choppa is behind the main building.
What Does the Choppa do?
As far as what Fortnite players need to know about the Choppa's capabilities, there's not much. It can't shoot out any missiles or other ranged weapons, so it's only good for traveling to a spot across the map or to carry the team away from the Storm. It's worth noting that the Choppa runs on fuel, so players need to watch their gas usage. The Choppa can also perform a boost, similar to how it's done with some of Fortnite's ground-based vehicles.
