Fortnite is a game with a lot of replay value for those that enjoy the concept of a battle royale game. Each match is different and can be just as fun as the previous one. So, even for players that go months without playing, it can be easy to pick the game back up and give it a go. The Reboot Rally event is precisely for returning players that want to scratch the Fortnite itch once again.
Every once in a while, a Reboot Rally event will take place in Fortnite, and players will be given the opportunity to earn exclusive items if they invite back a friend that hasn't played in a while or is completely new to the game. Here is everything players need to know about it before participating.
How The Reboot Rally Works
The Reboot Rally event's goal is to incentivize players to try out Fortnite for the first time or to get players to return to the game. Active players have to pair up with new or returning players and complete quests to earn points and unlock rewards.
In order to be eligible to count as a returning or new player for the quests, the user must've played less than two hours of Fortnite within the last 30 days prior to May 1. The event will be live until May 30 at 9 AM ET - a week after the end of the Star Wars Fortnite event.
To invite an eligible friend, the player must open the Friends tab in-game, and select a user that has the Reboot icon next to their profile picture. Then, simply select "Rally 'em Back."
Reboot Rally Quests And Rewards
There are several Reboot Rally quests available, but gamers don't necessarily have to do them all in order to get 200 points and unlock the last reward - only if they'd like to claim it faster.
Just like the Daily quests themselves, the Reboot Rally quest that requires players to complete a certain number of Daily quests refreshes every day. So, players can complete them several times until the end of the event.
