A hotfix for update v25.11 added some unexpected content to Fortnite, including two new Reality Augments and a brand-new healing item that replaced the Chug Cannon. Chapter 4 Season 3 started off with a fairly decent number of available weapons and items, and it has only increased as more updates are released.
Fans can now find Slap Splash in Fortnite, an item that works similarly to the now-vaulted Chug Splash. This guide will show players how they can get their hands on Slap Splash and what they can gain from it if they decide to take it with them.
How to Find Slap Splash
The Slap Splash is an Exotic rarity item, which means players might have a bit of a rough time finding it on the Battle Royale island. Many of the Exotic items in the game can only be obtained by talking to certain NPCs on the Fortnite map, but thankfully, that's not the case with the Slap Splash; there are actually several ways to get it.
Slap Splash can be found as floor loot, inside chests, or coolers, but this is rarely the case given the item's high rarity. Players can take a look at any Holo-Chests they may find along the way, or they can try capturing POIs, as it's also possible for them to appear this way. However, this is all up to chance, and it's impossible to guarantee any Slap Splashes will be available.
The best way to find the Slap Splash is to shoot down drones at Hot Spots. If a POI's name is yellow on the map, that means it's a Hot Spot, and there will be drones filled with loot flying over it throughout the game.
If gamers are lucky, they might also have the chance to activate the Splash Party Augment, a perk added to the game in the same hotfix as the Slap Splash. Choosing this Augment will grant the player a few cans of Slap Splash.
How to Use Slap Splash
The Slap Splash works just like Slap Juice, but since it's a throwable item, it can be used on multiple players at once.
To use the Slap Splash, the player who has it in their inventory has to hold down the targeting button and then release it in the direction that they'd like it to go. It will explode on impact, and its effects will benefit anyone that's hit by its contents.
The Slap Splash heals players by 15 HP and completely regenerates their energy instantly for a few seconds.
Fortnite is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
