Epic Games has announced that Fortnite will receive a skin of NBA player Giannis Antetokounmpo. The announcement confirms a leak that revealed the skin earlier this month, bringing the player to Season 1 of Chapter 4. This is another collaboration the game gets in the current season after Fortnite released the My Hero Academia skins.Giannis Antetokounmpo is 28 years old and is the superstar of the Milwaukee Bucks. The player is one of the NBA's most prized names, having won Most Valuable Player Awards in 2019 and 2020. Antetokounmpo also made Forbes' list of the NBA's highest-paid players and is the only player under the age of 30 on the list. Antetokounmpo is the second NBA player to appear in the game, with LeBron James' Fortnite skin having been released last year. The skin will come with the Wings of Victory Back Bling, Hashmark Hatchet Pickaxe, Victory in Flight Glider, and Ankara Print Wrap, which can be purchased individually or via the Giannis Antetokounmpo Bundle. Players who purchase the bundle will receive as well the Mask of Yoruba Spray.

Also starting December 24 Fortnite gets the Hoplite Giannis skin, transforming Giannis Antetokounmpo into a Greek warrior. The skin will be available along with the Dunk Buckler Back Bling and Diamond Doru Pickaxe, which can be purchased individually or via bundle. Players who purchase the Hoplite Giannis Bundle will receive the Warm-Up Emote. With this, Antetokounmpo skins join the considerable list of collaborations with sports names, which includes a Fortnite skin for soccer star Neymar Jr.
