Fortnite: When Does Chapter 4 Season 4 End?

Chapter 4 Season 4 will be coming to an end soon, and Fortnite players might be entering a new era.

Frenzy Fields has been an important location this season since it's where Nolan Chance and Antonia's crew have been hiding away. On top of this, strange items started to appear near The Getaway in Frenzy Fields. This guide will tell gamers everything they need to know about these occurrences taking place in Fortnite and how they correlate with the upcoming season.

Kato Thorne's Time Machine and The Heist

Chapter 4 Season 4 has been all about heists. During the first half of the season, Nolan Chance and his crew spent weeks holed up in Frenzy Fields, in The Getaway landmark, trying to come up with the perfect heist so that they could execute their plan without fail. The main objective was to break into Kato Thorne's stronghold and make a clean getaway with a precious object.

On October 18, the crew finally completed their mission; they managed to steal Kato Thorne's time machine and bring it back to Frenzy Fields.

Unfortunately, fans were only allowed to keep up with the lore by completing Snapshot Quests as soon as they became available - there were no cutscenes or cinematics.

Items Appearing in Frenzy Fields

After bringing the rift-powered time machine to Frenzy Fields, objects started to appear near it. And these aren't just any objects, they are actually notorious props that could be found in Chapter 1 named locations.

It is speculated that the time machine will take the entire island back in time and bring everyone to the original Fortnite map. The time machine displays the numbers 2018 07 12, which is exactly when Season 5 started.

The Durr Burger head with Drift sprayed on it is also a prop that appeared in the real world when Fortnite began to tease Season 5 in 2018. History might repeat itself, and soon, Fortnite fans might find themselves on the first island. Here are the facts that support this theory:

  • Chapter 1 Season 5 start date marked on Kato Thorne's time machine
  • Chapter 1 Season 5 items spawned near the time machine in Frenzy Fields
  • Possible connection to the Durr Burger real-world event teaser for Chapter 1 Season 5
  • The Chrone Cell battery for the time machine is powered by Rifts
  • Rifts were introduced in Chapter 1 Season 5
  • Chapter 1 Season 5 was titled Worlds Collide

The upcoming Fortnite season start on November 3, so players won't have to wait much longer to find out what the future holds.

Fortnite is available on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
