Fortnite has come a long way since its initial inception, growing from a simple tower defense game and Battle Royale to a worldwide phenomenon, packed with tons of content each season for its mainline Battle Royale mode and an ever-growing roster of additional side modes. Players have definitely been in for a wild ride, and there is no shortage of things to try out.
Of course, as players dive into each Fortnite mode, not only are they greeted with varying shifts in gameplay, but they are also able to get their hands on free rewards. One such reward is the Gold Crush Boost, available for players to equip on their vehicles. However, the reward itself requires players to have access to another game. How to Get the Free Gold Crush Boost in Fortnite
The Gold Crush is a limited-time reward that players can claim for Fortnite purely for free. However, in order to do so, they will need to have access to Rocket League. To celebrate Rocket League's 10th Anniversary, players can get their hands on the Gold Crush Luxury Rocket Boost simply by logging into the game after July 16. However, the reward itself is only available for free until September 16, which marks the end of Rocket League Season 19.
Of course, while the reward itself is earned in Rocket League, players will also get the Gold Crush Boost purely for free inside Fortnite if they use the same Epic Games account for both games. Once logged into Rocket League, head on back to Fortnite and the Gold Crush Boost should be rewarded. From here, simply select "Claim" to acquire it.
The Gold Crush Boost can be equipped universally to all vehicles inside the player's locker. However, unlike most other boosts, players cannot change the color, as it does not offer additional color styles for players to select from.
While the Gold Crush Boost can only be claimed for free for a limited time, following its unavailability on September 16, it may very well return in either the Rocket League or Fortnite Item Shops at a later date.
For Rocket League players who want an additional free reward, head on over to the Rocket League Item Shop and navigate to the "Community" tab. Here, players can claim the Sunless Video Participant Player Title purely for free. The reward itself is exclusive to Rocket League, however.
