Summary
- The Fishpool skin and Kelp-Corn Bucket back bling have been revealed by leakers, likely part of the Deadpool Mashups set.
- Other Fortnite characters have received skin variants already.
- The Fishpool skin may arrive before Season 2 of Fortnite OG.
Leakers have now revealed Fortnite's upcoming Fishpool skin as well as its back bling, which is making its first-ever appearance. Fortnite has released thousands of skins over the years. When it first surfaced, skins would come out in the Item Shop every now and then, but that progressively changed as Fortnite's popularity increased. While before the shop featured little more than a handful of cosmetic items, there are now dozens of pages in the Item Shop, and every day gamers get to choose from a selection of countless skins and other items.
There are several known characters in the world of Fortnite, and some are more popular than others. Meowscles, Peely, Cuddle Team Leader, and Fishstick are all quirky original Fortnite characters that have slowly become classics and even gotten all sorts of skin variants. Most recently, Meowscles received a Sabretooth-themed makeover with the release of the Meowtooth skin in the Fortnite Item Shop. Peely also has a Wolverine style called Peelverine. And, Cuddle Team Leader and Raven each have received their own Deadpool variant.
Epic Reveals More Information About the Disney Fortnite Experience
More information on the upcoming Disney experience in Fortnite surfaces, revealing details on its platforms and cosmetic items.
A few months ago, another Fortnite x Deadpool skin variant was teased during the D23 Disney livestream, and since then, many gamers have been on the edge of their seats, eager to learn more about it. At the time, a sketch was revealed, and it showed what appeared to be Fishstick, another one of Fortnite's iconic characters, in a Deadpool outfit. However, fans hadn't gotten any information about this collab since then. Now, the Fishpool cosmetics have finally been decrypted by leakers in the community, so players know exactly what will be coming to Fortnite.
Revealed Fishpool Cosmetics Coming to Fortnite
- Fishpool skin
- Kelp-Corn Bucket back bling
Only Fishpool and the Kelp-Corn Bucket back bling have been decrypted, which means that these could be the only cosmetics coming to the game. It is likely that Fishpool will be part of the Deadpool Mashups set alongside Ravenpool and Cuddlepool; both of these Fortnite Marvel skins also don't have any of their own pickaxes, gliders, or any other cosmetics besides a back bling similar to their original but colored red.
Even though the skin and back bling have been decrypted at last, it has not been revealed when Fishpool will be coming to Fortnite, but it will likely happen during Absolute Doom, seeing as this entire season is Marvel-themed. On November 2, 2024, Chapter 5 Season 4 comes to an end and gamers will have to welcome Season 2 of Fortnite OG, but they can look forward to the possible release of the highly-anticipated Fishpool skin before then.
