Gamers have to gather Metallica Notes to complete Metallica Quests in Fortnite; thankfully, a fan found a way to farm them much faster. Patch v30.10 was the first update of Chapter 5 Season 3. While updates are usually released on Tuesday, that was not the case this time; this update launched on June 14 instead, as Epic Games wanted it to go live alongside the Metallica event. This decision delayed the release of the Week 3 Weekly Quests as well as the Raiding the Rig Story Quests. However, to make it up to players, Epic gave them a ton of new content, including Rocket Racing and Fortnite Battle Royale Metallica Quests.
Metallica Quests will progressively be released throughout the rest of the event, which will be live until July 2 - one week after the upcoming Summer Fest update. Until then, gamers have to complete as many quests as possible and collect Metallica Notes in order to complete and unlock the Metallica Rises loading screen. Metallica Quests are standard quests that gamers can complete by performing certain tasks in-game; however, gathering all Metallica Notes might take longer than finishing all the quests, as fans will have to gather dozens of notes before they can complete the poster.
To receive Metallica Notes in Fortnite, gamers will either have to search containers or damage players. Upon doing so, notes will drop. However, they will only be able to collect a couple of dozen per match at best. Thankfully, a member of the Fortnite Battle Royale subreddit found a way to get a Metallica Note with a single press of a button thanks to an exploit. Players can easily get more Metallica Notes in Fortnite by getting a Repair Torch, getting it to a nearby Service Stations location, and refilling it. They can spam the "refill Repair Torch" option and Metallica Notes will continue to pop out of the machines.

As the number of collected notes increases, the Metallica Rises poster will continuously be filled, and gamers will be able to see the full picture. Afterward, once it's completely done, it will be given away to whoever finished it so they can take it as a token for their efforts.
This exploit is great for players who don't have enough free time or simply don't want to waste time grinding the game in order to get the required notes and get the loading screen. However, since the Reddit post got decent traction online, Epic Games might see it and fix it, so gamers who still want to take advantage of it must act fast before it's gone, like many other removed Fortnite exploits in the past.
