  • Numerous fans want Epic Games to stop making hanging gliders.

Some Fortnite players have expressed their disappointment with the recent Valentina's Quadjet cosmetic and have asked Epic Games to stop making hanging gliders. While Chapter 6 Season 2 seems to be a hit with many Fortnite fans, a large portion of the community has had mixed feelings about the return of Midas.

Recently, many people have accused Epic Games of raising the price of cosmetics in Fortnite by selling back blings and outfits separately instead of together. Some fans have suggested that the developer is selling large amounts of reskins and individual cosmetics at a higher cost in the hopes that gamers will opt to buy overpriced bundles. Similarly, a number of players have asked Epic Games to reduce the price of its OG pass, as it is sold for the same price as the battle royale's main pass but includes half as many cosmetics and no V-Bucks. Unfortunately, the criticisms from players haven't stopped there.

In a recent post on Reddit, gtgcya shared a picture of Valentina's Quadjet glider, which features handlebars underneath the vehicle. They expressed their disappointment with the fact that they cannot surf on top of the glider, asking Epic Games to stop making gliders with handlebars when they look like they can be ridden. Other gamers were quick to agree, with some saying they were excited about the glider when they initially saw it and were let down when they found out their character would hang beneath the otherwise well-designed Quadjet. The cosmetic is included in the battle pass for Chapter 6 Season 2 of Fortnite, but this isn't the only time Epic Games has designed a glider in such a way.

Fortnite Players Don’t Want More Hanging Gliders

Many fans compared Valentina's Quadjet to a motorcycle called Shadow's Bite that accompanied the character Cerberus in Chapter 5 Season 2 of Fortnite. Similarly, this glider looked as if the player might ride on top but clung to the handlebars under the bike instead. This was especially upsetting for some gamers, as the motorcycle glider for Ghost Rider allows them to stand on top with a surfing animation. Some people suggested that Epic Games should simply give them the option of riding on top or hanging below, which might appease a larger portion of the community.

Fans have also recently criticized Fortnite's implementation of Kicks, with many stating that they feel the cosmetic is overpriced, as the cheapest ones typically cost 600 V-Bucks. Meanwhile, collaborations with Nike and Adidas can drive the price of Kicks up to 1,000 V-Bucks. This all seems to be part of a larger issue many players are having with recent cosmetics put out by Epic Games. Despite a few hiccups with pricing and skins, many fans are looking forward to seeing what Fortnite does next with Chapter 6 Season 2.
