Fortnite has seen many collabs throughout the years, and a mixture of iconic and obscure blend into Battle Royale and other popular game modes. One collab that was a welcome surprise to Fortnite was that of El Chapulin Colorado, the beloved superhero that acts as the perfect antithesis to the likes of DC Comics and Marvel icons and the comic book genre as a whole.

Fortnite celebrates its 7th anniversary in 2024, but within that time, there are still some skins that haven't returned in over half that time.
With Fortnite x Chapulin Colorado, players can jump into the multitude of game modes as their favorite comedic hero, who might not be able to win every game and will cower in most, but there is always an opportunity to help others get that Victory Royale.
How to Get El Chapulin Colorado
First released in Chapter 2, Season 8, players could have picked up El Chapulin Colorado on November 2, 2021, from the Item Shop for 1,200 V-Bucks. Whilst this outfit hasn't appeared in the Shop for over 800 days, August 3, 2024, saw the character return with celebration and acclaim. Players can head to the Item Shop before August 6 2024 at 8 PM ET to grab El Chapulin Colorado for 1,200 V-Bucks. The appearance of the character will instantly be recognizable to fans of the sitcom and animated show, and the likeness to Robert Gomez Bolanos also blends wonderfully with Fortnite's own art style.
When purchasing the El Chapulin Colorado skin, players will receive the Paralizatron CH-3000 Back Bling and a LEGO Style variant of the skin for no extra cost, providing players with a plethora of uses for something that only costs 1,200 V-Bucks in total.
If players want to further their purchases into this collab set, then they can grab the Chipotle Chillon Pickaxe for 500 V-Bucks.
El Chapulin and Colorada Bundles
If players want to invest in their own Red Grasshopper outfit, then they do not need to be the titular hero himself, but can instead take on the mantle with various alternate skins that don the costume. Players can purchase any variant of the Colorado and Colorada skin for 800 V-Bucks, or, they can grab the bundle of these skins, providing them with 5 different characters in the same outfit for 2,000 V-Bucks. Each skin does come with its own LEGO Style, so if players want to fill their lockers with El Chapulin Colorado and Colorada skins then they can do so and grab a total of 11 outfits from the collab set.

Like the El Chapulin Colorado skin, these bonus collab skins will leave the Item Shop on August 6 at 8 PM ET. The return date for collabs is always random and unpredictable, as even on anniversary dates for famed franchises and collabs, sometimes sets never return.
