Now that Fortnite has been faced with one of its biggest threats to date, the evil doctor has a collection of mementos showcased throughout the map that tease some upsetting fates for many Marvel icons.

The morbid keepsakes of Doctor Doom can be found in Castle Doom. These Marvel Comics references make it clear that the listed characters likely won't be making an appearance in Fortnite any time soon. While items like Namor's horn and the damaged Moon Knight symbol are more tame, some of the pieces in Doctor Doom's collection are downright morbid. As Doctor Doom's arch nemeses, it isn't surprising that The Fantastic Four are included in this macabre museum, but they have clearly faced the worst outcomes.
While Sue Storm seems to be trapped in an invisible state, the supposed corpse of Mr. Fantastic being squished into a ball is gruesome. However, The Thing and Human Torch have got it even worse. Human Torch's heart powers the fireplace in Doom's castle, while The Thing has been crumbled and morphed into his new throne. Facing Doctor Doom is no easy task, and this array of death and destruction found in Castle Doom is a perfect example of how powerful the villain is.
Taking Down Some of Marvel's Strongest Villains
What's even more shocking is the display of fellow villain memorabilia. Ultron and Magneto are incredibly powerful in their own right, but Thanos and Galactus are literal gods. The power of Doctor Doom is on full display in Fortnite's newest season. Until now, it seemed impossible to defeat Galactus, but his giant head can be seen floating out in the ocean. A significant portion of the Marvel roster has met the wrath of Doctor Doom, and there may be even more harrowing events to come.
The forge next to Castle Doom hints at even worse horrors on the horizon. Based on the sigils that can be found in the area, it appears as though Doctor Doom is trying to summon the demon Mephisto, one of Marvel's most fearsome antagonists. Theories are suggesting that Mephisto may make his debut in Fortnitemares, but only time will tell. As Fortnite brings more Marvel characters into the spotlight, it will be fascinating to see who Doctor Doom takes on next.
