Doctor Doom is one of the most powerful and ruthless villains in the Marvel Universe, and it seems like he’s already taken down several of his fellow comic book icons during his recent Fortnite event. During last week’s D23 Fortnite livestream, MCU head Kevin Feige confirmed that Victor Von Doom would be the focus of Epic’s next Marvel crossover, right on the heels of former Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. Being announced as the tyrant of Latveria and scourge of the multiverse on the silver screen.

As moviegoers prepare to see Doctor Doom menace the MCU in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, Fortnite players are battling him and his forces in the ongoing Chapter 5 Season 4 event "Absolute Doom." During this latest Fortnite chapter, Doom has taken control of the powers of Pandora’s box, and has recruited classic Marvel supervillains like Emma Frost and Mysterio to help him assume dominance over the Island. It thus falls to Fortnite’s ever-growing army of players to stop them and liberate the Island, but this may prove easier said than done.

A quick trip through Doctor Doom’s throne room is proof of this, as it looks like he has taken trophies from a few of Fortnite's Marvel heroes. Naturally the Fantastic Four, Doom’s most hated enemies, are among those being displayed. The remains of Mr. Fantastic are shown rolled into a ball in one display case, the Invisible Woman is trapped in another, and the Human Torch’s heart is being used as a heat source in a fireplace. Most gruesome of all is The Thing, whose corpse has seemingly been molded into Doom’s new throne.

The Fantastic Four aren’t the only Marvel characters who seem to have fallen victim to Doom, as another one of his display cases houses the broken helmet of Magneto, the X-Men’s iconic nemesis who recently had his own well-received Fortnite skin. In yet another lies a fragment of the Silver Surfer’s signature surfboard. Not even Galactus, the devourer of worlds who once threatened the world of Fortnite back in Chapter 2 Season 4, is safe from Doom’s rampage, as his dead body can be seen sticking out of the ocean.

This might not even scratch the surface of Doctor Doom’s Fortnite casualties, as other players have spotted equally grime nods to Marvel characters like Ultron, Moon Knight, Doctor Strange, and Thanos - the latter of which was once the overarching villain of the MCU’s Infinity Saga and one of Fortnite’s original Marvel skins. Now it looks like Doctor Doom has become the dominant villain in Fortnite, with a considerable body count in just his lair alone.
