Fortnite x Disney: Things Announced in the Livestream

Disney and Fortnite joined forces thanks to a recent business arrangement, and this allows them to bring fan-favorite Disney and Marvel titles and characters to the popular Battle Royale game. Disney hosted an exclusive livestream in Fortnite a week before the release of Chapter 5 Season 4, and over a million fans tuned in to learn more about the upcoming Battle Pass and watch the world premiere of several crossovers that will happen very soon.

4 Disney Villains in Fortnite

The first announcement in the show was the addition of popular Disney villains to Fortnite. The team announced that Disney animation characters would be coming to Fortnite for the first time this fall, and then rolled out a short clip featuring three notorious villains: Cruella de Vil, Maleficent, and Captain Hook.

It is possible that these evil characters will be making an appearance for the Fortnitemares event, which tends to happen at the end of October to celebrate Halloween.

3 The Incredibles Characters in Fortnite

The cast of The Incredibles is coming to Fortnite, and these will be the first set of Pixar characters to join the roster of skins available in the game. Frozone, Mr. Incredible, and Elastigirl will be available in Fortnite starting this fall.

Rumors had already circled the Fortnite community that Mr. Incredible would be a skin for those who purchased the Fortnite Crew. This possibility is still on the cards, as it's not been revealed how players will be able to acquire Mr. Incredible in Fortnite. However, it is possible that gamers will have purchase to these characters as part of an Incredibles cosmetic pack.

2 More Star Wars Characters in Fortnite

Star Wars is a crossover Fortnite veteran at this point. It's a franchise that has made dozens of appearances in Fortnite at this point. There's a yearly May the Fourth event, there have been several event passes and dozens of themed skins and weapons. Starting August 12, 2024, new Star Wars cosmetics will be available in the Item Shop, and these include popular characters such as Moff Gideon, Grogu (AKA baby Yoda), and IG-11.

On top of this, it seems that a Millennium Falcon Fortnite UEFN experience will soon be available, giving players the opportunity to ride their favorite ship alongside the Mandalorian and Grogu.

1 Chapter 5 Season 4 Reveal Trailer

For Fortnite fans, one of the most exciting moments of the D23 was the Chapter 5 Season 4 reveal trailer, a world premiere of Fortnite Absolute Doom.

Not only did this trailer give players some more insight on what's to come in the next Fortnite season, but it also showed fans all of the upcoming Battle Pass skins and many powerful items and weapons that will be available once Chapter 5 Season 4 starts. Players can expect Mythic weapons, such as Captain America's Shield, Iron Man's Gloves, and even dual SMGs.
