The official Fortnite Twitter account has been changed to fit what seems could be a new jungle them for Chapter 4 Season 3. Fortnite is a live service game, which means it's constantly being updated and receiving new content to keep it fresh for long-term players and to incentivize curious gamers to try it out. Every three months or so, a substantial update is released to modify some of its main elements such as the Battle Pass, major map POIs, and more.Chapter 4 Season 3's start date is just around the corner; players can expect the new season to go live sometime in the early hours of June 9. Speculation regarding what could be coming next season is a recurring subject in the Fortnite community, and it seems that Epic Games is finally ready to start teasing Season 3's theme.RELATED: Fortnite Players Witness Earthquakes And Vine Growth The Fortnite Twitter account changed both its header and profile picture, and this alteration did not go unnoticed by the Fortnite fanbase. The images are still MEGA Season-related, but vines and leaves were placed on top of them. Players were quite excited when they saw that the account looked different, and they couldn't help but connect these vines to the rumor regarding the addition of a jungle biome to Fortnite.

For several weeks now, there have been rumors that the next season will be related to the jungle. Recently, gamers even started experiencing in-game earthquakes as well as vine growth near the cracks in the ground that would appear. It was unknown at first what this all meant, but it became clear that it would be related to the upcoming season when Weekly Quests related to new excavation sites and fault line investigation became available.

Players are mostly worried about the areas that could be replaced with the start of the new season. There is a theory that there is a volcano near Mega City, and it could erupt at any moment, especially with the strange seismic activity going on. Mega City is a fan-favorite named location this season, and many gamers are worried that it could be destroyed by a natural disaster. This happened several times before with Tilted Towers. Now that another megalithic POI has come to replace it, fans would hate to see it gone as well.

Fortnite is available for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
