Before, the Mythic Goldfish reduced an enemy's health by 200 HP, which meant that it could eliminate players at full health unless they were in Zero Build Battle Royale or Zero Build Fortnite Reload, as these game modes include overshield - 50 extra shields that automatically regenerates after a few seconds.
With the release of patch v30.30 on July 23, the item was buffed and it's now stronger than ever; upon impact, the Mythic Goldfish deals 250 damage, so it will instantly knock or eliminate a player in any game mode. There is no doubt that the Mythic Goldfish is one of the most overpowered items in Fortnite, which is why it's so hard to find.
