In a recent post on Twitter, Epic Games announced that it would be making another substantial change to Fortnite's movement system, as the company has removed Wall Kicks and Roll Landings from official modes. Creators who have utilized the mobility features in Creative modes will be unaffected, as the two forms of movement will still be enabled in custom experiences. Wall Kicks and Roll Landings were introduced in Chapter 6 Season 1, which also debuted a whole new map, battle pass, and other movement options. While Epic Games is always tweaking the popular battle royale to ensure fair and balanced gameplay, many people were surprised to see the two movement options get disabled so suddenly.

Fortnite Has Disabled Roll Landings and Wall Kicks

A lot of players seemed to be happy about the change, but numerous people requested that Epic Games enable the movement features in Fortnite's Zero Build mode. Due to players' inability to build in the popular game mode, some gamers pointed out that the extra movement options made the mode feel "complete." People who play Creative seemed relieved, as they remained unaffected by the shakeup. Epic Games has not shared any plans for additional movement changes, but did say that it would take what it has learned from this experience and apply it to future features.

While Epic Games has gained a reputation for listening to its fans and applying feedback, many people have been disheartened by the lack of a lightsaber pickaxe in Fortnite. The community has been asking Disney and Epic Games to incorporate lightsabers as pickaxes for quite some time. However, the lack of any such pickaxe in the Galactic Battle season has many players thinking it might never happen. Despite a few hiccups here and there, many people are enjoying the new Star Wars season and are feeling optimistic about the future of the popular battle royale.
