Fortnite Hunters whisks players to yet another island, one they will likely get used to seeing for the rest of Chapter 6. On this map, players can dive into a wide range of colorful locations, uncover hidden vaults and other secrets, make use of powerful Oni Masks and two unique blades, and even become Godzilla for a limited time.

However, with all the changes that have come with this season, there are a few carryover features. While the first carryover feature that may come to mind includes the roster of unvaulted weapons, Campfires are also still on the island. Though most players may ignore Campfires altogether, they can be rather useful for those looking to restore their health. Here is where to find every Campfire in Fortnite Hunters.

All Campfire Locations

All Campfire Locations in Fortnite

There are a total of 47 campfires on the Fortnite Hunters island, most of which are spread out along the north side and southeast corner of the map. Each location guarantees a campfire, and while there are plenty to choose from, very few are worth heading to straight from the bus, as the loot in their locations is relatively scarce.

Some of the most notable locations include the following:

  • Whiffy Wharf
  • Magic Mosses
  • Both northeast and northwest of Demon’s Dojo
  • Twinkle Terrace

How To Light Campfires

how to light a Campfire in Fortnite

Campfires have been a staple in Fortnite for quite a while now and serve as a way to restore the player’s health when low. To light a Campfire, players simply need to head over to it and press the interact button. When lit, the Campfire will heal all players in its vicinity for a short duration. As of Chapter 6 Season 1, Campfires will only heal the player's base health, and will not add any value to their Shield.

The Campfire will only be lit for a short duration before going out, but it can also be extinguished prematurely with a poorly placed Chug Splash if players are not too careful. If players are playing regular Battle Royale, the Campfire can also be stoked with 30 wood, providing healing at a faster rate and extending the Campfire's healing duration. While Campfires can be lit in Zero Build playlists, the ability to stoke a Campfire is absent due to the lack of building materials.

Lighting two Campfires is a task that is part of the Week 7 quests. Upon completion, players will be awarded 25,000 XP—a nice little boost to further their progress through the Battle Pass.
