Fortnite loves to mix and match Exotics, Mythics, and weapons of all sorts, which is why things are getting more lawless by the day in Fortnite's Chapter 6 Season 2. Thanks to the Outlaw Keycard Quests, players are now able to get their hands on Brutus' Minigun, providing players with the only Minigun currently in Chapter 6 Season 2.
Fortnite: How to Get the Outlaw Keycard (& What it Does)
The Fortnite community is tasked with robbing Baron Fletcher Kane in order to obtain Outlaw Keycards that will let them unlock unique Exotic weapons.
Is a Minigun a good idea for the current meta in Chapter 6 Season 2, and how will this weapon shape up against some of the best? Either way, for players who want to get this weapon for themselves, look below to see just how to get Brutus' Minigun and how to wield it.
How to Get Brutus' Minigun in Fortnite
Brutus' Minigun can be acquired from the Backwoods Black Market, found next to the Magic Mosses POI. To get Brutus' Minigun, players must have at least a Common Outlaw Keycard, acquired from a community quest, so that they can unlock the Black Market backrooms. From inside this Black Market, players can find the Brutus NPC (who can be hired as a Scout Specialist) and Brutus' Minigun inside a weapon case, purchasable for 1 Dill Bit. This Dill Bit can either be acquired from Vault Heists, with the closest being that of Lonewolf Lair, or from the Outlaw Chest within the backroom, which is opened with an Uncommon or higher Outlaw Keycard.

- Assault Weapon: A heavy weapon with high damage, an extreme rate of fire. Very inaccurate unless aiming down sights from a fixed position, and firing in short bursts.
Brutus' Minigun might look intimidating to wield, but if anything, it's a true vulnerability. It's a sluggish and heavy weapon, and the fact that it takes so long to fire up to its true rapid-fire potential, along with how inaccurate it is, places those who wield it at a complete disadvantage. This weapon is only really good for Vault Heists, and not for trying to take out the entire lobby, in part due to how it's outclassed by a meta of scoped SMGs and Assault Rifles to ensure this Minigun has no place here.
