Boons in Fortnite Blitz Royale function in the exact same way as those in regular Battle Royale, each one offering buffs to the player and taking up their own unique slot within the player's inventory. However, the key difference in Fortnite Blitz Royale is how to get them.

To get Boons in Fortnite Blitz Royale, players will need to gain eliminations and survive the storm to increase their Blitz Level. Upon increasing their Blitz Levels, players will be given access to a random Boon and other upgrades like Mythic and Exotic Weapons, thus making them much more equipped for Victory. The player's current Blitz Level will be displayed just below their minimap.

Boons are also a guaranteed drop by searching Golden Chests, which will spawn in random locations. These Golden Chests are distinctively different from regular Chests, so players must keep their eyes peeled for one.
