The Power Rangers are already in Fortnite, and Megazord is set to debut as a giant mech kaiju, but why not have the power of the Power Rangers within your hands? Battle Royale players are treated to the Blade Blaster, a Power Rangers pistol that can zap enemies and return them to the lobby. This powerful weapon has its own way to be obtained, so don't expect to find it in chests or on the floor. Below, players can find out exactly how they can get the Blade Blaster, along with gameplay so you can see if it's worth using.

How to Get the Blade Blaster

Blade Blaster Locations

The Blade Blaster can only be obtained from Bunkers. These Bunkers are scattered across the map in specific areas listed below, but it's worth noting that only 2 of these Bunkers will be active per game. Players can open the Bunkers by acquiring Rank A for O.X.R., which is easily achieved by killing bugs and eliminating other players, so venture to Dystopia City, The Hive, Ranger's Ruin, and Demon's Debris to get an A rank before other players. Here's where you can find the Bunkers to get the Blade Blaster:

  • South fo Dystopia City
  • West of O.X.R. HQ
  • North of Shiny Shafts
  • South of Foxy Floodgate

Check your map once you hit Rank A to see where your Bunkers are, and then access them to unlock the vault and find the treasure. The Blade Blaster is locked behind a display case within the Bunker, and players can interact with it to claim the weapon for free.

The Blade Blaster is a battery-powered Pistol, meaning it has its own dedicated ammunition. Players have 100 shots with the Blade Blaster, and once the battery is empty, the weapon is useless and can no longer be used. This Pistol has two firing modes, the first being hip-fire. The hip-fire mode deals less damage, but at a quicker fire rate, whereas aiming with the Pistol sees more damage, better accuracy, and slower fire time. Players should use the Blade Blaster if they're after a Pistol that has the power of a DMR and SMG in one small package.
