Fortnite has given players a more detailed look at the Bart Simpson skin coming to the Battle Royale in the next mini-season. It is almost time for players to wrap up Fortnite Shock 'N Awesome and say goodbye to Chapter 6. On November 1, Chapter 6 Season 4 will come to an end, and gamers will have to say goodbye to the NPCs, POIs, and the map that they've played on for the past year.
As most players know by now, Fortnite chapters and seasons come in cycles. At the start of December, a new chapter begins, then there are four full seasons - sometimes with a special event or season in between - and lastly, after the Fortnitemares event, there is usually a mini-season to separate the past chapter from the upcoming chapter. This gives players some time to prepare for a major revamp of the Battle Royale game mode, which will undoubtedly bring a new island and characters, its own storyline, and fun mechanics.

Fortnite Reveals Bart Simpson Skin in In-Game Newsfeed
This year's mini-season has been confirmed to be a crossover with The Simpsons. Between Chapter 6 Season 2 and Chapter 6 Season 3, there was also a special season that resulted from a crossover with Star Wars, so fans weren't particularly surprised that the next mini-season will also feature a franchise from another universe. Fans have been particularly excited to see The Simpsons skins that will make it onto the mini Battle Pass, and Fortnite has finally decided to provide a reveal by giving fans a sneak peek at the upcoming skin when Bart Simpson unexpectedly showed up in the in-game newsfeed, graffiting over a The Simpsons x Fortnite promotional image.
Bart has a notoriously mischievous personality, so fans thought it was definitely in character for him to graffiti an 'A' over the 'O' in 'Fortnite', changing the word to 'Fartnite'. Since Bart is still a kid, his character is too short to fit the Battle Royale models. So, similarly to Fortnite's Morty skin, Bart is held up by a robot that allows him to reach the same height as other characters in Fortnite.
The Simpsons season will undoubtedly bring a comical vibe to Fortnite that will blend in quite well with its already unserious tone. Fortnite is all about having a good time, and Epic Games makes this possible by giving players tons of silly cosmetic options, such as iconic skins like Peely and fun emotes.
