  • Other leaks suggest possible changes to Fortnite Crew subscription with benefits like early access to shop items and exclusive quests.

Fortnite leakers have shared some details about new Mythic items coming in the game's crossover event with Avatar: The Last Airbender. The Fortnite event is expected to launch sometime in mid or late April.

A previous Fortnite leak revealed plenty of details about the collaboration, which ends on May 3, according to the game's files. The event offers a mini-pass where users can unlock an Aang skin, Appa glider, and more. Apparently, the Aang skin is an instant unlock, but it could be exclusive to the event's premium reward track. The glider is the event's final reward, which can be unlocked by collecting all six "Books" through completing various quests. New details have emerged as dataminers discover more about the event.

Fortnite: Chapter 5 Season 4 Mod Bench Locations

Here is where players need to go if they want to find themselves a Mod Bench in Fortnite.

Fortnite leaker Wensoing revealed that the Avatar event introduces four new "Power" Mythics, including one that comes with a super jump ability and some sort of wheel. During the event, these Mythics can be obtained through five special chests. Four of the chests spawn a specific Mythic while the fifth spawns a random one. The Mythics can also be looted from regular chests, drones, or supply drops, although the regular chest odds are quite low at 5%. Some fans have wondered whether the four new Mythic Powers could be related to Avatar's bending techniques, which consist of water, earth, air, and firebending. Also, Fortnite leaker Hypex said that the crossover features "at least 2-3 more" skins in addition to Aang and Korra.

New Details of Fortnite's Avatar Crossover Event

  • Features four Mythic "Powers"
  • Contains "at least 2-3 more" skins in addition to Aang and Korra

The first set of quests for Fortnite's Korra skin will be available on April 2, which is a couple of weeks ahead of the Avatar event's larger mini-pass if the leaks are accurate. Fans will need to have the battle pass unlocked to earn the Korra skin, similar to last season's Metal Gear Solid crossover that allowed battle pass owners to unlock a Solid Snake skin. However, the mini-pass, which is separate from the Korra skin and its quests, will likely feature a non-premium reward track that is available to all users.

The rumored Avatar mini-pass might remind fans of Fortnite's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle event from last season. The event included a mini-pass that allowed fans to unlock a TMNT-inspired back bling, glider, weapon wrap, and more for free. Those who purchased the mini-pass' premium track could also unlock a Shredder skin and other items. It's likely that the Avatar event will utilize a similar format.

Another recent Fortnite leak revealed some big changes potentially coming to the game's monthly Crew subscription. The leaked survey showed that Epic is considering some new benefits for the service, such as early access to Shop items, an XP multiplier, exclusive quests with rewards, and more.
