All Map Changes in Fortnite's Star Wars Season

With a new Fortnite season comes a whole list of changes, not just to the meta, with a set of powerful weapons (for this season, it's Blasters) but to the entire map. As Fortnite prepares itself for the arrival of a galaxy far, far away, they have provided players with a bunch of map changes to run around in and discover new spots to loot in Star Wars x Fortnite's Galactic Battle season.

There are some map changes to expect throughout the season, from major POIs, minor landmarks, and even secrets. As such, it's a good time to look below to see the latest changes to the Fortnite map before it changes again, or in case the Death Star blows it all up like Alderaan.

First Order Base

Previous POI: Demon's Dojo
Noted for: Captain Phasma's Medallion & F-11D Blaster

The First Order Base is found in the top right of the map, and it features some goodies that players need to be aware of. It's a decent spot to drop thanks to the fact that it's situated on a mountain, meaning it's always a spot to keep the high ground. However, players will need to be careful of hostile characters, as First Order Stormtroopers will shoot on sight, and so will the boss fight of this area, Captain Phasma. Phasma is worth fighting for her loot, as her Medallion lowers the cooldown of Blasters, and her F-11D Blaster is one of the best Mythics to use; it's just a shame it's a POI that replaces the reliable Demon's Dojo.

Resistance Base

Previous POI: Whiffy Wharf
Noted for: Poe Dameron NPC

It seems that the humble POI of Whiffy Wharf has been replaced by the Resistance Base, a friendly POI where players can find Poe Dameron, along with Shadow Blade Hope and Vengeance Jones. This trio of characters can provide players with useful weapons if they have the Gold to spend, but that's not the only thing found here. The POI has plenty of corners for cover shooting, and around the vicinity, players might get lucky and find an X-Wing to fly around.

Vader Samurai's Solitude

Previous POI: Shogun's Solitude
Noted for: Darth Vader's Lightsaber

Shogun's Solitude used to be a quiet and safe spot to land in due to how far away it was from the central Battle Royale island, but it seems Darth Vader himself has arrived to disrupt the peace. The bottom left POI, now named Vader Samurai's Solitude, is where players can find Darth Vader and his squad of Stormtroopers. If these hostiles don't kill the player, then the popularity of this location among other players will, especially if someone is lucky enough to snag the TIE Fighter found here.

Outpost Enclave

Previous POI: Hopeful Heights
Noted for: Mandalorians (coming soon)

The bottom right POI, Outpost Enclave, is where players can find more familiar and sandy spots. This area is a lot like Tatooine, but it's less riddled with scum and villainy. While Outpost Enclave might be a tad empty now, Mandalorians are set to arrive to take control of this spot, so players can find recruitable NPCs along with even more loot to grab so that they can get a victory royale.
