To celebrate Fortnitemares 2024, the Horde Rush game mode has once again been unvaulted, giving gamers an opportunity to unlock tons of XP. This guide will show players how they can join in on the fun by playing Horde Rush in Fortnite and the rewards that they will receive once they complete these fun challenges.
How to Play Horde Rush in Fortnite
The Horde Rush mode should appear in the first row of options in the Play tab - right beside Battle Royale and Zero Build. However, if gamers aren't able to locate it right away, they will have to scroll down, and they'll also be able to find it in the By Epic category.
Each player will have two minutes to loot and prepare for battle. Once the timer reaches zero, Cube Monsters will appear. These hostile creatures must be taken down right away before they start to overwhelm the player and their team. Here are the various stages of the Horde Rush game mode:

Horde Rush Rewards in Fortnite
Last year, gamers got free cosmetics for completing Horde Rush Quests, but unfortunately, that's not the case this year. Players will receive 20,000 XP for each Horde Rush Quest that they complete in Fortnite. For completing the first set of quests, they can get as much as 100,000 XP.
More quests are on the way, so it's possible that cosmetics could be added as rewards soon. Until then, Horde Rush is a fun way to increase players' account level in Fortnite.
