With Fortnite’s Halloween event hitting the game, Fortnitemares brings forth new collabs for players to enjoy. In these Fortnite collabs, players can purchase iconic characters, befitting of the Fortnitemares season with Michael Myers from Halloween, Alan Wake from Alan Wake 2, and even Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Fortnite: All Fortnitemare 2023 Quests and Rewards
Fortnitemares 2023 brings players a bounty of free quests and rewards, to those up to the Fortnite Halloween challenge.
These skins make a great addition to Fortnite thanks to Fortnitemares 2023, and it just proves that Fortnite can get any collab they want to make this the definitive Battle Royale for players to enjoy, considering they can play as some truly iconic characters and celebrities. Yet, how can players get their hands on these Halloween skins?
Fortnite: All Horde Rush 2024 Quests and Rewards
Fortnite fans can play the Horde Rush game mode to unlock tons of XP to help them complete the Battle Pass.
Players don’t need to grind any quests or Battle Pass in Chapter 4, Season 4 to claim these Fortnitemares 2023 skins. All of these skins feature in the shop, and players can gather their V-Bucks and purchase all of these Fortnitemare skins as of right now. These outfits come with their own cosmetics, marking unique collabs and items for players to wield whilst they try and get a Victory Royale or complete their Fortnitemares quests.
Michael Myers
The Shape comes to Fortnite and finally gets out of Haddonfield for something more his style. The Fortnite island must be a dream for the horror icon Michael Myers, as he can kill his way through 99 other players, although not as brutally as his normal style, especially when he can hit the Griddy.
Players can get the Michael Myers Bundle for 1,800 V-Bucks, which will save them 1,000 V-Bucks if they were to purchase all items separately.

The outfit for Michael Myers is a classic, and players can enter the Fortnite island as John Carpenter’s original creation, complete with the cheap and bleached Captain Kirk mask from the original Star Trek series; even if it has taken an identity of its own thanks to Halloween.

Considering Michael Myers loves Halloween, it’s no surprise that his Back Bling would be an iconic carved pumpkin. What’s even better, is that the knife inside the pumpkin is Michael Myers’ Pickaxe. The pumpkin itself is a reference to the Halloween opening credits.

This emote is perhaps one of the best emotes to come to Fortnite. In action, the emote will see players play on a keyboard with a knife, and commit to John Carpenter's iconic theme of the Halloween franchise, complete with all its ominous glory.
Alan Wake
Alan Wake finally returns to gaming after years of clamoring from fans. Alan Wake 2 is soon to be available worldwide, and the highly anticipated horror/thriller sequel celebrates in grand fashion by bringing the renowned and troubled writer, Alan Wake, out of the Dark Place and into Fortnite.
Players can purchase the Alan Wake bundle for 1,800 V-Bucks, which will save them 800 V-Bucks from purchasing the items separately.
If players purchase Alan Wake 2 on the Epic Games Store before October 27, 2024, at 11:59 PM ET, they will receive the Alan Wake Outfit and Alan’s Messenger Bag Back Bling in Fortnite. Alternatively, if players own the skin already, they will receive 1,200 V-Bucks.

Jack Skellington
It’s a surprise to see a character like Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas come to Fortnite. Disney has often collaborated with Fortnite with Star Wars and Marvel, but this is the first time a character outside those iconic franchises has arrived at Fortnite. Perhaps Jack Skellington grew bored with Halloween again, although hopefully this time it won’t affect the holiday seasons, and will simply remain in the Fortnite loop.
Players can purchase the Jack Skellington Bundle for 2,600 V-Bucks, which will save them 1,400 V-Bucks from buying all the items separately.

Complete with his snazzy outfit, and his skeletal grin, Jack Skellington comes to the Fortnite island in all his musical and spooky glory. Not only do players get to access his normal skin, but they also receive a variant, with his Santa Suit equipped. By purchasing Jack Skelington, players will also acquire Zero and the Scary Face emote.
Zero Back Bling
Loyal companion who always has your back.
As a Back Bling, players can access the ghostly and loyal dog of Jack Skellington. Zero is a great addition to Fortnite, and his animated actions and personality really shine as he follows Jack around on the Fortnite island.
Jack’s Scary Face Emote

Keeping more in theme with Halloween, Jack’s Scary Face is a great emote that can only be used with Jack Skellington. It involves the character stretching his mouth to a horrifying degree to show off why he is the Pumpkin King and the most famous in all of Halloween Town. Sadly, or fortunately, players cannot use this emote on anyone but Jack Skellington.

Jack Skellington’s love for the Holidays seems to be getting out of hand, as this collab item isn’t exactly themed for Fortnitemares, and instead seeks more in line with Winterfest, considering that it’s a Christmas tree umbrella with a candy cane handle.
Jack’s Sled Glider (1,200 V-Bucks)
Here comes Jack!
A skeletal reindeer, a coffin for a seat, and a garbage can to hand out gifts. Jack’s Sled Glider is pretty spooky and great for those who want to immerse themselves as the character Jack Skellington, or for those who just want to ride an undead reindeer.
Lock, Shock And Barrel's Tub Traversal Emote (500 V-Bucks)
Travel on clawfoot.
This Traversal Emote will see players pull off a devious grin as they ride around in a bathtub with four legs. As they enter the tub, spiders will burst from within.
When Will The Fortnitemares Skins Leave The Shop?
Fortnite has confirmed that Fortnitemares 2023 will end on November 3, 2023, at 2 AM ET. This means that the Fortnitemares and Horde Rush quests will be deactivated and made unavailable after this, and it’s expected that the Halloween-themed skins added for Fortnitemares will be removed from the Item Shop at this time as well to prepare for the elusive next Fortnite Season, and potential new Chapter.
With Fortnitemares coming to an end, players won’t have long to purchase one of these skins, and considering they are all licensed, it’s not possible to say whether or not they will return. There have been plenty of great collab skins in Fortnite that have not returned to the item shop, even after fan demand, so if players want to pick up Michael Myers, Alan Wake, or Jack Skellington, it’s probably a good idea to do so as they arrive, as it’s unpredictable if they will come back for Fortnitemares 2024, let alone in a few months time after a few Item Shop rotations.
