One of the Oathbound Quests in Fortnite instructs players to align star sensors by damaging them in the correct order. This quest is to be completed at Hidden Henge, a landmark situated to the northwest of Faulty Splits, and it requires fans to solve a puzzle. This guide is here to provide details on the solution to that puzzle and help players quickly align the star sensors in Fortnite.

Fortnite: Align Star Sensors by Damaging Them in Correct Order

As previously noted, players that are working on this Oathbound Quest should begin by making their way to Hidden Henge. This location can be marked on Fortnite's in-game map simply by tracking the quest, making it very easy to pinpoint. It has also been marked on the map that is below for the sake of full clarity.

Upon arriving at Hidden Henge, Fortnite players should focus on the large circle at its center. A small circular device can be found on this central platform, and fans should look carefully at the image of the moon that is displayed upon it. Players should now turn their attention to the tripods that surround the central platform, looking for one that holds a moon image that matches the one that appears on the central platform.

Once the matching image has been identified, players should approach it and hit it with their harvesting tools. This action will cause a new image to appear on the central platform, and fans must then locate and hit its match. After repeating this process a few more times, players will have damaged all the star sensors, and they will receive indication that they have completed the associated Oathbound Quest and earned 20,000 XP in Fortnite.

To note, it appears that the order in which the star sensors are to be damaged is the same for all players. As such, fans should be able to complete the quest without ever checking the image on the central platform by simply hitting the sensors in this order:

  1. Crescent moon to the right.
  2. Half moon to the right.
  3. Full moon.
  4. Half moon to the left.
  5. Crescent moon to the left.

After the star sensors have been aligned, players will receive yet another Oathbound Quest. This one centers around interacting with the cosmic monitor, and it is very easy to complete. Indeed, all that battle royale fans must do is approach the circular device on Hidden Henge's central platform and press the input that appears onscreen.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile devices.
