Forspoken's Trophy List Hints at a Collectathon

One of the first big AAA open-world games of 2023 is Forspoken. Developed by Luminous Productions, the game will take players to the Athia where a corrupting force known as the Break is wreaking havoc. The matriarchs known as the Tantas were once benevolent but now rule with malice. Gamers will get to explore Athia soon, and the trophy list has been revealed.

Judging by Forspoken's trophy list, players are in for quite the collectathon. This usually makes for a boring grind in most video game, but Forspoken's elaborate magic system will provide plenty of action along the way. At the very least, the list of collectibles seems simple, if long.

Forspoken Will Have Many Collectibles

Forspoken's launch date is just around the corner, and as is the case with most video games, the trophy list has found its way onto the internet a few days before release. There are a total of 54 trophies, though trophy hunters may be glad to learn that none of them are tied to difficulty levels. Of the 54 trophies, one is Platinum, two are Gold, seven are Silver, and 44 are Bronze. There also appear to be at least 12 trophies tied to the completion of the main story chapters.

Perhaps the most grueling aspect of acquiring all the trophies will lie with the collectibles, as quite a few trophies are tied to them. For example, there are three Pilgrimage trophies granted when players visit monuments. There are two Bronze Pilgrimage trophies - one for visiting one and twenty monuments. The third Pilgrimage trophy is Silver, and it is unlocked when players visit fifty monuments. Similarly, there are three Explorer trophies, with two Bronze ones unlocked when players discover ten and fifty points of interest. The third Explorer trophy, which is Silver, is unlocked when players find a whopping one hundred points of interest.

The Realized Potential trophy is earned when players learn every spell in the game. As gamers have seen from the trailers and the demo, Frey will use the magic of Athia to defeat the enemies that stand in her path, hence learning as many powerful spells as possible will be important. Kit and Caboodle, which is a Silver trophy, is unlocked when players acquire every piece of equipment, while the Happy Snapper trophy, which is Bronze, requires players to show the children all the pictures taken at the photo spots. Depending on how many photo spots there are and how easy they are to find, it could be a tough trophy to unlock. Some trophies go a little easy on players, such as the Archivist trophy, which is Gold and requires players to only collect 80% of the Archive. Forspoken's full trophy list is as follows:

It has been a rough road to Forspoken's release. The game has faced delays, as well as a mixed reception from audiences who aren't entirely sold on the dialogue.
