The developer of Forspoken has just shared that it is going to be making improvements to the game based on the feedback from players of the recent demo for PS5. Forspoken is an upcoming action role-playing game that is currently in development for PC and PS5. The game is being developed by Luminous Productions and published by Square Enix.Luminous Productions is a Japanese video game development team created by members that previously worked on Final Fantasy XV. The company is a subsidiary of Square Enix and was formed after the release of Final Fantasy XV. Forspoken is the first title developed by the new company and attempts to use the Luminous Engine to create a Japanese game with global appeal. The action RPG follows Frey Holland, a young black woman who is transported from New York City to the fantasy world of Athia. Earlier today, the official page for Forspoken took to Twitter to update fans on the reception they had received from the playable demo. In the tweet, the account shares its excitement for seeing so many fans of the game enjoying their time in Athia with the demo. The tweet goes on to list the upcoming changes that will be made based on that feedback and reassures players that they are taking their feedback seriously.

The account stated that the full game will increase the text size for the game, add button mapping options, and fix the current HDR issue some players experienced in the Forspoken demo. The tweet also includes an image of some of the updates included as images in the tweet. Several Twitter users replied to the initial tweet and shared their appreciation for Luminous Production and the extent they went to consider player feedback. Twitter user Jmaine518 also added that he would like the game to improve performance and resolution to fix blurriness and frame rate drops in the final version as well.

Luminous Production seems to be very open to constructive criticism and is aiming to make the game the best experience possible for fans. It is great to see playable demos offer even more resources for developers and to watch how communication between fans and developers can create a better end product overall. Hopefully, the company can address other concerns gamers have for Forspoken as well.
