Each night of Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit places new obstacles in Oswald's path. During Night 4, you'll need to deal with Freddy, whose position in the Security Office makes it impossible to rescue one of the trapped kids. Getting Freddy out of the office without getting Oswald killed in the process will mean taking advantage of a particular weakness he has.
During Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit's second day, Oswald acquires a sketchbook that was previously owned by an employee of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. This book is filled with useful information about each of the animatronics, which can be used to your advantage. In the case of Freddy, it notes that he is sensitive to bright flashes of light. Back during day 2, Oswald met a student with access to firecrackers, which would be perfect for disorienting Freddy and getting into the office.

How to Get Firecrackers
During Day 4, Oswald will leave school early due to an incident, giving him a head start on his next excursion into the pit. After investigating the Security Office door and getting confronted briefly by Freddy, you'll need to go find something to distract him with. Back on Day 2, Oswald spoke to a boy named Jet, who offered to get him some firecrackers if Oswald could bring him "something I can't get anywhere else." A few items in the game fit the bill, though the most reliable option is the Handheld Gaming Device. You can get this by earning 20 tickets in the Arcade, trading them for a voucher, and then using that voucher to redeem a prize. If you repair the Ticket Eater, one of the arcade machines, and the Prize Machine in the present-day arcade, you can easily get the Handheld Gaming Device.
Alternatively, you'll sometimes get a Freddy Mask when opening the attic in Oswald's House. This is also a suitable trade, though it relies on luck since the item is not guaranteed to appear. Once you have a tradable item, head over to the Library to speak to Jet and get the firecracker.
How to Use Firecrackers
Once you make it back to the Security Office door with the Firecrackers, you can interact with the door to trigger a short scene. Oswald will automatically use the Firecrackers to disrupt Freddy and slip into the office, allowing you to find the next trapped kid.
