Fans will soon have the opportunity to experience the world of Five Nights at Freddy's in real life with a full-scale haunted maze attraction coming to Universal Studios theme parks in Hollywood and Orlando for Halloween Horror Nights 2025. Five Nights at Freddy's had been heavily rumored for months, and Univeral has finally confirmed that the demented animatronics and the infamous pizza parlor will be made all too real at HHN.

Five Nights at Freddy's took the internet by storm when it first launched in 2014, with big-name YouTubers like Markiplier and others boosting the indie title to the forefront of horror gaming. The original Five Nights at Freddy's game sees players taking on the role of a security guard watching over a defunct pizza restaurant where the rundown animatronics of Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Foxy, and Bonnie are lying in wait, ready to attack at any moment. As the franchise has grown, new characters and deep lore have drawn in a massively dedicated fandom, sparking live-action film adaptations from Blumhouse and now producing a haunted attraction at Universal theme parks.

The official Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights website and social media accounts have dropped early teaser videos for the Five Nights at Freddy's haunted house coming to HHN 2025 in both Orlando and Hollywood. According to the house description, guests will come face-to-face with full-scale replicas of Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, and Foxy, as fans are forced to "flee through creepy, abandoned hallways" and experience iconic scenes from the Blumhouse FNAF movie. Guests will get to walk through Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria while escaping the terrifying pursuit of the iconic animatronics, which have been recreated in collaboration with Jim Henson's Creature Shop, the same company that made the Five Nights at Freddy's characters in the live-action film. Tickets for HHN 2025 Orlando and Hollywood are on sale now, with Orlando's festivities kicking off on August 29 and Hollywood beginning September 4.

For those unfamiliar, Halloween Horror Nights is an annual event that takes place at Universal theme parks in Orlando, Hollywood, Osaka, Singapore, and Beijing. The event sees original concepts and familiar IPs adapted into haunted maze attractions, along with outdoor scarezones, live shows, themed food and drink, and exclusive merchandise. Fans have long asked for FNAF to come to HHN, and after Blumhouse and Universal teamed up on the Five Nights at Freddy's movies, those wishes have finally been granted. FNAF joins Fallout, Terrifier, WWE Wyatt Sicks, and Jason Universe in the IP lineup for HHN 2025, with other original mazes set to horrify guests in a thrilling season of scares brought to life.

Universal's Halloween Horror Nights is considered the biggest Halloween event in the world, drawing in tens of thousands of visitors to experience the most iconic horror video games, movies, and TV shows in real life.
