It's not necessarily uncommon that popular video game franchises get cookbooks inspired by their world design and lore, with the latest being Five Nights at Freddy's. The trend of gaming-related cookbooks does seem to be on the rise, with an official Diablo cookbook, an official Sonic cookbook, and more coming this year too.
It's a good time for a small expansion like this in the FNAF universe, as many fans are also eagerly awaiting the Ruin DLC set to release, for free, later this year too. Not much is known about Five Night at Freddy's Security Breach's Ruin DLC, but it does seem to put players into the shoes of a different protagonist. It'll take place in the Mega Pizzaplex, possibly after the Burntrap Ending, but depending on when it releases, fans may be able to enjoy it with some food from the universe too.
The Official Five Night at Freddy's Cookbook will go on sale on September 5, is rated for Ages 12+, and will cost $19.99. It includes over forty recipes such as Fredbear's Pepperoni X-Press, Chica's Ultimate Thai Chicken Burger, Foxy's Fruity Cove Cooler, and El Chip's Fully Loaded Tortillas.
With the sheer number of recipes available in the book, it stands to reason that most, if not all, of the Five Nights at Freddy's characters are represented to some degree. In fact, if there are any fans of Foxy who have a sweet tooth, they can check out an exclusive page from the book below, complete with a recipe for Foxy's Pirate Plunderbars.
Five Nights at Freddy's Cookbook: Foxy's Pirate Plunderbar Recipe

- 1 cup of mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons of colored sprinkles
It's certainly a sweet-looking treat, but the book clearly has a few different recipes to offer fans. Plus, it's hardly the only FNAF-related content in the works. Aside from the cookbook and the DLC, there is also a Five Nights at Freddy's movie in the works. Matthew Lillard is set to play the character of William Afton, the death-cheating serial killer, and recently teased his work on the role, showing an image of him waiting for prep. There's obviously a lot in the works that can be enjoyed with some good food, like Foxy's Plunderbars.
