The First Descendant will release a fix for the game's Hard mode that many fans have been requesting. Gamers may recognize The First Descendant's developer Nexon as one of the companies involved in the canceled Titanfall Online project, as well as the classic MMO MapleStory. The First Descendant's Hard mode Infiltration Operations previously had no matchmaking available, forcing players to take on missions solo and stripping the co-op features that had been prominently featured leading up to the game's release. When it comes to responding to player feedback, Nexon seems to be reacting quickly during the title's early days.

The First Descendant To Update Infiltration Operations

Being able to tackle more difficult missions in co-op will be a huge boon for The Last Descendant players. Playing in a group can transform sections of the game that feel grindy into more fun experiences shared between friends eager for a challenge. Co-op capabilities in Hard mode could make activities like unlocking Frenya in The First Descendant more engaging, as opposed to becoming something tedious for players.

There is also some merit to playing The First Descendant solo. Although most live service titles incentivize multiplayer, playing this title alone seems just as viable. Players who do choose to play The First Descendant by themselves may need to optimize their gameplay to make tougher sections more doable, and if things turn out too tough, this new update to the title's Hard mode will make playing with friends an easy backup plan.
