How to Unlock Danjin in The First Berserker: Khazan

Before you can unlock the collectible Jarlings across the missions of The First Berserker: Khazan, you will first need to meet and help an NPC named Danjin during the Jar Enthusiasts quest.

How to Start Jar Enthusiasts Mission in The First Berserker: Khazan

Talk to Duimuk

Once you beat Volbaino and complete Mission 4, First Act of Revenge, you can unlock the Bonus Mission, Jar Enthusiasts, which also takes place in Phraugh Village. To start the quest, just head back to The Crevice and speak to Duimuk (he should be standing next to your storage chest).

Click on Bonus Mission.
Then click on Jar Enthusiasts.
You will then get a message saying the Cradle of Jars region has been unlocked via the Spectral Portal at the Crevice.
Go to the portal near Blade Phantom and choose the new mission in Phraugh Village.
The recommended level is 31, and there are two of First Berserker' s Soulstones to collect.

Once you arrive at the Jar Observatory, speak to Danjin and grab the Coward's Lantern item from him. He wants you to explore the surrounding area and return six Jarlings to him.

If you get close to one of the Jarlings, your controller will vibrate if you have the item equipped. Having this will make it super helpful to locate them all.

When you see and climb the first ladder on the main route, you'll find a Jarling in front of the bridge inside a tiny jar.

Once you climb down a ladder later on, you'll see a dead body that you can absorb Lacrima from. However, if you walk into the little area underneath the ladder, you'll see a tiny pot in the corner with a Jarling inside.

After you pass the open field with the first Soulstone (after absorbing a body for Lacrima), you'll find a ladder. Head up the ladder, follow the path, and then turn into the area on the left with dead bodies. You'll see a tiny pot in the corner close to the main path.

Once you get far enough into the stage, you'll end up in an area with a small home with an open door near some dead bodies on the ground. In a previous mission, this is where we had to throw a Javelin at a structure to knock it down on top of monsters.

Break the pot in the top left corner to find the Jarling.

Once you grab the previous Jarling, leave the house and head straight towards a gate. Look at the small pot to the right of the gate to find another of the magical creatures.

Go through the arch after grabbing the previous Jarling, and then follow the path until you reach a locked gate. Look to the left of the gate to find a pair of large pots, one with another Jarling. If you go to the other side of the closed gate, you'll find a Soulstone tucked away.

Once you complete the mission, Danjin will appear at The Crevice, and you can head to previous missions and find hidden Jarlings for him. There are 44 to find, but you will be rewarded with a trophy/achievement for locating them all.
