While Final Fantasy Tactics was a dark and engrossing tactical JRPG with a riveting plotline, things changed with the advent of the sequels. These games focused on isekai setups and lighter tones to attract younger fans, which was an interesting direction to take for the series.

These titles let players control the bangaa race, who can take the role of a warrior in stride. Players will love using the power of this race to smash enemies to pieces in tough and rewarding tactical encounters time and time again.

Final Fantasy 3's 3D remake lets players check out a relatively fleshed-out version of the original game with a focus on the story. Luneth and his allies embark on an epic quest to save the world while interacting with a fun job system.

This means that every character in Final Fantasy 3 can potentially become a strong warrior as they master this job class. While players will gain access to better classes as the game progresses, the Warrior is pretty reliable and can save a player's hide in tough encounters time and time again.

The Warriors of Light have no qualms about banding together to save the world from the four Elemental Fiends. This takes them on a wild adventure, and players can choose a class early on that each character can embody.

As one would expect, the Warrior is pretty powerful and becomes a physical powerhouse that fans can rely on. This character can eventually transform into a Knight, further enhancing both their offense and defense in combat.

The leader of the Warriors of Darkness is constantly angry and reckless, but that just adds to his charm. He doesn't understand the relentless optimism of the Warriors of Light, but eventually understands his purpose during Shadowbringers.

Jack and his party in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin

While Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin alienated many fans with its poor reveal trailer, the game wormed its way into players' hearts with a unique take on the story of the first Final Fantasy game. Jack Garland and his friends can be rather edgy and annoying at times, but they also become enjoyable parts of the game in their own right.

When players start Final Fantasy 10-2, one of the first things they'll notice (aside from a peppy opening completely unlike the melancholic tone of the predecessor) is the addition of a new playable character. Paine is as edgy as one would expect, almost feeling like a female Auron with the way she acts and talks.

The warrior dressphere is her default class, making it clear how Square Enix wanted her to be perceived. With this dressphere, Paine can smash enemies to bits while staying true to her character.

Tidus fits the definition of a warrior in the loosest sense, but fans can't deny that the sequel uses his animations for the warrior dressphere to make these parallels more evident. While his damage pales to Auron's, Tidus makes up for this in other departments.

He has access to several unique abilities that channel Time Magic to manipulate the Conditional Turn-Based battle system. Quick Hits and Hastega can turn the tide of battle in a flash as enemies don't have any time to react to the party's relentless assault.
