FF7 Remake Intergrade Will Include Some MTG Cards

Although Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will be sold as a Game-Key Card, fans will have another type of card included with the Switch 2 version. Square Enix confirmed on social media that physical copies of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade on the Switch 2 will include a Magic: The Gathering booster pack inside the game case. The booster pack will contain 14 random cards from MTG's Final Fantasy crossover set while supplies last. It is currently unclear if the Xbox version of FF7 Remake Intergrade will have a similar offer.

Pre-orders of FF7 Remake Intergrade are available on Amazon and Best Buy for $40. In Magic: The Gathering's Final Fantasy crossover set, Final Fantasy 7 is one of the most represented entries. The expansion includes cards that can be used in either Commander or Standard game formats. FF7 main protagonist Cloud Strife is featured alongside Sephiroth in the expansion's Starter Kit, and also has a themed Commander deck based around him. Other characters and locations from Final Fantasy 7 are also prominently featured throughout the set.

With Square Enix committing to bringing the entire Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy to all current major platforms, it remains to be seen how long Switch 2 players will wait for ports of the other two entries.
