Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is poised to be one of the biggest releases around, and fans can't wait to see what's in store for this amazing title. The trailer itself was a treat in many ways, with keen-eyed fans noticing the following details in this reveal that is pretty interesting indeed.

7 Zack And Cloud's Final Stand

The manner in which Zack was ruthlessly gunned down in Final Fantasy 7 was pretty heartbreaking to watch. However, given the ending of the first game and the shots shown in the trailer, it can be surmised that Zack is actually alive in this iteration of the story.

The way they limp towards Midgar means that some major reveals are bound to occur in this game. Fans are pretty excited to see what Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will have in store for them.

6 Sephiroth's Summoned Meteor Hitting Earth

A big part of the final clash between Sephiroth and the heroes stems from the fact that Sephiroth had used a powerful piece of Black Magic that was poised to hit and destroy Earth. The iconic Meteor spell was used for this purpose and Comet served as the in-game use of this spell from the series instead.

In the trailer, there's a brief glimpse of this attack hitting Earth, which looks pretty destructive indeed. While it's pretty much a given that the party will stop Sephiroth in his tracks before he manages to unleash this wave of destruction, only time will tell just how much the narrative of the original game will be tweaked by Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

5 The Flashback Of Cloud And Sephiroth

One of the most iconic moments in Final Fantasy 7 comes when the party heads to the village of Kalm to rest up, following which Cloud narrates his story as a SOLDIER and how he was assigned with Sephiroth to handle an issue in his hometown, Nibelheim. This scene is famous for setting up Cloud as an unreliable narrator of sorts, leading up to the game's biggest and most genius reveal.

Of course, the flashback is also iconic for featuring Sephiroth in a battle where this character absolutely decimates an enemy that had impeded them. This seems to be replicated in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth as well, and only time will tell just how faithful this flashback will be to the main game.

4 Shots Of JENOVA's True Form

JENOVA is a mysterious entity that hadn't really made an appearance until the party boarded the ship to head to Costa Del Sol in the original game. However, due to the nature of the Remake, this entity was revealed in the very first chapter and played a pretty major role in the form of an epic boss fight in Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

It seems that JENOVA is poised to play a major role in Rebirth as well. The trailer showed various shots of her true form that the player managed to gaze upon for the first time during the flashback in the first game. She looks just as haunting as ever and is bound to be a memorable part of Rebirth as well.

3 Aerith Moments Before Her Demise

One of the most iconic moments in the original Final Fantasy 7 came in the form of Aerith's shocking death. The fact that this permanent party member ate the dust so quickly was pretty jarring and is something that fans haven't forgotten anytime soon.

The moments prior to Aerith's death are shown in the Rebirth trailer as well. Given how the events of the story have changed in this tale, it's possible that Aerith's death might not even come to pass!

2 Tifa And Cloud Discussing The Nibelheim Incident

The narration of Tifa and Cloud in the trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is pretty telling. Instead of Tifa questioning Cloud, it seems that the opposite is in effect instead!

Tifa exclaims how it's not possible that she died in Nibelheim, even though Cloud saw her still body. While Cloud also held Tifa's body in the original game, it was pretty clear that he didn't think she was dead. So, it's possible that the game might actually be setting up a completely different reveal that could be just as mind-blowing.

1 Aerith's Line From The Date At The Golden Saucer

The Golden Saucer is one of the most iconic locations in Final Fantasy 7. This wondrous location features several minigames that the player can participate in, along with a dating sequence that can see Tifa, Aerith, or even Barret accompany Cloud on a sightseeing tour of the amusement park!

One of Aerith's lines from her date, "I'm trying so hard to find you," is present in the trailer. Players with a sharp memory recognized this line, pretty much confirming that the Golden Saucer dates are going to be featured in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth is set to release in Winter 2023.
