Summary
- Players can customize Cait Sith's abilities in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth using unique Megaphone weapons for powerful combos.
- Obtain Cait Sith's ultimate weapon, Gjallarhorn, to unlock Synergy Damage Up and ATB Limit skills for enhanced gameplay.
- The Crystal Megaphone offers Offensive MP Saver skill for reducing MP cost, making Cait Sith a valuable spellcaster in battles.
Cait Sith doesn’t fulfill a classic Job role in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth based on past entries. Bard is perhaps the closest he comes to, but Jobs aren’t really important in Rebirth or even the original version on PS1. Players can give their characters whatever roles they want via Materia.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: 10 Best Broadsword Skills Cloud Can Equip, Ranked
Cloud has a lot of powerful Broadsword skills to choose from in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth; here are the best ones you should use.
What Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth players can’t change about Cait Sith are his Megaphone weapons. However, they can learn abilities with each of the seven they equip to Cait Sith. These abilities can carry on to other weapons, although weapon skills will not. So, of the seven Megaphones in the game, these skills attached to them rank among the best.
7 Synergy Damage Up
Building Combo Attacks
- Weapon: Gjallarhorn
Gjallarhorn is Cait Sith’s ultimate weapon in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, so getting it takes a bit of work. Esoteric Secrets of the Elders is one of Rebirth’s many side quests, and it is located in the Nibel region. After getting enough Chocograss, players can get this Megaphone for Cait Sith and, consequently, equip the Synergy Damage Up weapon skill.
Synergy Damage Up will increase these abilities by 10%. Synergy attacks are one of the newer additions to Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s gameplay. They are combo attacks between two characters and Cait Sith has some wildly powerful and hilarious ones, like one involving him taking up Cloud’s iconic Buster Sword.
6 ATB Limit
Raise The Bar
- Weapon: Gjallarhorn
Another weapon skill for the Gjallarhorn Megaphone, ATB Limit will fill the Limit Break gauge every time Cait Sith uses an ATB charge. From casting spells to performing unique abilities to using items, everything uses ATB charges in the game.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: 10 Best Staves Skills Aerith Can Equip, Ranked
During Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Aerith will unlock a range of useful weapon skills, some of which are much more useful than others; here are the best.
The only exception is normal attacks, which is how players will raise their ATB gauge predominantly. It’s a win-win situation to have ATB Limit equipped since players will be using those ATB charges all the time. While not having the best Limit Breaks in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Cait Sith will put up a fight.
5 Offensive MP Saver
Boost That Moogle Magic
- Weapon: Crystal Megaphone
The Crystal Megaphone can be found in Cosmo Canton, Red 13’s home turf. With it, players can equip the weapon skill Offensive MP Saver onto Cait Sith. This will reduce the MP cost of attack spells by 10%, and that includes Materia like Fire and Ice.
Cait Sith is not the easiest character to control manually, although it was good that Square Enix added him, unlike Cid and Vincent. That’s why players may want to designate Cait Sith as a Black Mage-like character and have him cast spells in the background. It’s not the worst strategy in the book and Offensive MP Saver will certainly help.
4 Moogle Decoy
Two Heroes In One
- Weapon: Yellow Megaphone
In the original game, Cait Sith was one unit. There was a cat on top that rode around on a giant Moogle. In Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Cait Sith primarily runs around in his cat form, and then he can call his giant Moogle to ride in battle.
After summoning his partner, Caith Sith can decide to jump off, allowing the Moogle to be controlled by AI. It’s like adding a fourth party member to the team. With Cait Sith’s default weapon, the Yellow Megaphone, they can use the weapon skill Moogle Decoy, which will have the Moogle body draw enemies toward it as a distraction to get the brunt of damage.
3 Moogle Sentinel
Turn That Fluffy Body Into A Wall
- Weapon: Yellow Megaphone
There is another decoy-like ability on the Yellow Megaphone that players will find useful. Moogle Sentinel will reduce damage by 15%. This includes both when Cait Sith is riding on the Moogle and also when the latter is by itself.
Therefore, if players equip both weapon skills, the Moogle will last longer before being destroyed. It’s a bit sad to see the lovable giant get destroyed in battle countless times, even if it is just a machine. In times of war, sacrifices must be made though.
2 Moogle Vanguard
Boost That Moogle Punch
- Weapon: Yellow Megaphone
Another Yellow Megaphone weapon skill, Moogle Vanguard is the direct opposite of Moogle Sentinel as it raises the Moogle body’s attack power by 10%. Caith Sith has quite a few abilities in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth that require the Moogle's presence.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: 7 Best Gun-Arm Skills Barret Can Equip, Ranked
There are a number of skills that Barret's gun-arm can be equipped with in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, but these are the best available.
For example, Moogle Knuckle is a very powerful punch that can be strengthened via Moogle Vanguard. For those that want to learn Moogle Knuckle, it’s attached to the Golden Megaphone, which is in the Shinra Manor in Nibelheim.
1 Lucky Jockey
Hit The Critical Jackpot
- Weapon: Yellow Megaphone
The Yellow Megaphone is clearly advantageous for a lot of reasons. Its best weapon skill, though, is Lucky Jockey. This weapon skill will increase Cait Sith’s Luck stat when he is riding around on the Moogle by 100.
That is an astonishing boost for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth as it rivals the Complete Materia, Luck Up, once it is fully leveled. Luck can help with stealing from enemies and, most importantly, it can increase the chances of hitting enemies with critical hits. Also, the Yellow Megaphone comes with Critical Hit Damage +10%, making for a killer combo.
